Foodies

Not sure how I feel about this film. Granted it's only the trailer and anyone can cut anything to change the intent or meaning. But it's the same film makers that produced Jiro Dreams of Sushi which is supposedly a good thing. Jury is still out on that.

To me my Foodie's definition is not just about appreciating good food. Who doesn't want to experience good food with good friends, great conversation and an amazing local. It is part of the whole experience. Trailer is a bit pretentious and lonely to me. What do you think?

Secularly I worked for a great company but it’s the people I work around who all lead with empathy and have been beyond kind to me these past few weeks. It makes it easier to go back to work this week and a spend nice evening down in the city meeting colleagues I have worked with for over 4 years and just now meeting in person. Great Japanese food @nonono_nyc we will return soon.

Such amazing support from dear friends close by and far away. We all know we need each other really appreciate people driving far to be by our side. Very special to us and unexpected.

It’s been hard to think what to write after the loss of someone so dear. I so wanted mom to see the dogwood tree in bloom. It only lasts a few weeks. Today all the petals blanketed the grass. I pray the grief goes away as quickly. Everyday we are closer to seeing our loved ones again and I take comfort in that. I know I am joined by too many who have also had tremendous loss. You all have been a really comfort to us. Thank you so.
