A few places we checked out this week. Hudson Taco in Newburgh were delicious and Holy Dog in Middletown is a local joint that I will go back to and try a few other things, plus I think there is a secret menu as someone came in and order something I didn’t see anywhere on the menu.
After a month LONG road trip we are finally where we call home now, New York. Settling in and getting back to a routine is priority. We made it from California to New York via Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma (where we nearly missed all the bad tornado weather see the radar weather pattern as we missed the sign), Missouri (only saw the St. Louis Arch, gateway to the west), Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio (only saw the Cleveland sign there), Pennsylvania and finally New York. That’s 11 states. Phew, it’s a big continent and we’ve done it three times now. I think we will try and stay a while. Thanks to all the friends and family that housed us on the way.
We arrived safely to NY last night driving through rain all day. We are staying with friends for the next few days until we move in to our place on Saturday. This is the pond outside their home. It’s the same one I took a picture of in March when it was covered in snow out there. It’s in my feed from March. #rtroadtripcatony
When your friends take you to one of their favorite date places and show you their favorite paintings. Loved it. #clevelandmuseumofart
