It's going to be a busy week, so posts will be few. We'll see how much I end up on instagram, it really depends. We have another local assignment, so we'll be juggling real-life work with volunteer work and well that means this place always suffers, but I'm OK with that. Seriously my priorities are as follows:
1. Volunteer Work - it's religiously based and MY LIFE.
2. Secular Work - cause we gots to pay the bills, I actually like what I do
3. Blog Work- i love this space, it's my lifeline to creativity, but it's #3 on the list till one day it can be #2 and help pay the bills.
Past weekend was filled with spending long days in volunteer work, making a chocolate gluten-free cake (blog post soon), visiting with friends and babies and a favorites party (see a sample of one here) and a going-away party. Oh party party party. Our social life has been full. We are ready for some down time. I might have forgotten what that is? We'll be carving out some space for that soon...I hope.
I foresee a road trip and what I wouldn't do to drive an old car like the above thru the desert, of course with a good radio and some air conditioning or heater, depending when we get on the road. But this just screams road trip to me. Until then enjoy your week, hope it's as fulfilling as mine.
