Are you passionate about homemade products, about supporting emerging
artists, how about being socially responsible? Do you want to be a
part of supporting this entrepreneurial movement? So let me ask you,
have you heard of Umba?
Earlier this year I was introduced to Umba Box, which use to be a subscription based service that provided handmade goods. I received this great handmade gift posted here on Instagram. After two years in business they are re-branding themselves as Umba.
Umba is a one-of-a-kind social selling platform that selects savvy entrepreneurs to be Umbassadors, empowering them to launch their own businesses as independent consultants. Umbassadors earn 20% of sales made from hosting online and in-home Trunk Shows, they receive direct mentorship from industry experts, and they join an active community of new friends, all the while helping to improve the lives of artists across the world. I think I want to be an Umbassador, just cause I like the way it sounds.
Part of their mission statement is that Umba is a two-sided equation of empowerment. They
empower artists by connecting them with passionate consumers and Umba
empowers entrepreneurs who recognize that they want more out of life
than a 9-to-5 job. And who doesn't want that.
Some of my favorite products on the site are this DIY Tea Towel Kit , this Letterpress Banner Kit, oh and this amazing Flat Bracelet. For little ones, they can practice their photography skills with a Pixie Wooden Camera. I kind of want that Pixie camera for my own collection.
Umba's Fall Collection is inspired by relationships, and they’ve curated products that speak to that. Browse their entire Fall Lookbook here!
