Third ceramics class bounty. I used new clay, tried molds, handmade a lot and continued to practice in the wheel. Lots of different types of glazes this time. I love this class.wont be able to take again till the Fall. Can't wait though. #ceramics

Someone gave me whole bunch of cherries from their trees. Besides eating them all, as is, I was scratching my head on what to make. I have never had success with making cherry pie, my favorite, with fresh cherries. The new Bon Appetit had a recipe for cherry salsa so that's happening with some of the cherries. Yesterday I overheard and jumped into a conversation about cherry schnapps. So last night I took what was left from my vodka and proceeded to make two jars. Then I started to think am I making cough syrup? So today I thought I might infuse them with either basil rosemary or mint. Any thoughts on infusions?
